In addition to popular museums in the capital city of Yerevan, Armenia’s regional museums also house collections of fascinating objects and stories of Armenian heritage.

Museum guides will help you discover the history and ethnography of the Armenian Highlands. You will learn about a five-faced idol found near Goris or examine architect Momik’s intricate khachkar in Yeghegnadzor. In Dilijan, you will discover a famous embroidery collection by Serik Davtyan, and in Gyumri, you will visit the Aslamazyan Sisters’ Gallery and a newly designed museum shop full of artisan products inspired by their work. Some museums also provide hands-on experiences for all ages.
